Hands-FREE or Hands-ON
The original design of this professional leash will allow you to switch it from hands-free to hands-on in a matter of seconds
I absolutely love the leash! The multiple attachment points are perfect. I also think that the sliding attachment point in the center of the belt is genius! I have a Bull Terrier ( they can be stubborn) lol and I'm finding that using the center attachment point a little to my right with the lead coming behind me to Mudslide on the left puts him in a perfect heal position and th bungee action causes him to gently self correct if he tries to forge ahead. I absolutely love it and highly recommend. Thanks a mil for a wonderful product! Vickip
I was skeptical, but desperate when I ordered this leash. I have an 80 lb rescue dog who is reactive to other dogs and struggles with impulse control on leashes. My shoulders just can't handle his pulling anymore, so I thought I'd give this a try. This leash has been a terrific find and I'm so glad I took a chance. It's not long enough for him to get a running start, so he can't take off running, which means he can't pull me over. it's got a little elastic in the leash, so we can work on not tugging. It's strong enough to hold him when I do need to pull him backward, but he's already being more responsive to it. I've even been able to take him out with one of our other dogs. I'm really glad I took a chance on this harness...it makes me feel hopeful that he'll become a good on the leash boy!!
We bought this for a hiking trip in Palo Duro and we're pleased with how well it worked. It has far more useful features than some more expensive 'hands-free' leashes sold in outdoor stores. We were able to comfortably navigate some fairly technical trails with our 35lb husky who still likes to pull on her leash occasionally. We chose this one over a few other comparable products on Amazon because we liked the fact that the leash hooks onto double rings to protect the plastic clip and it was easy to transition it to a hand held leash. We initially only planned to use it for hiking but it worked so well we'll likely use it as our main leash for any extended walks going forward. Would highly recommend!
I have a very large, young, impetuous dog that loves to charge off and have a great time doing his thing. We work hard with our training, but something wasn't clicking, and our walks were leaving us a little tired and sore. The bungee has a nice strong bounce to it that feels sturdy, and it gently bounces my dog back just a half step - enough to make him turn around and pay attention to me! He gets the idea quicker and quicker each time we go out. This is wonderful because as we have been taking gradually longer and longer walks with it in his body harness, he's *finally* learning to walk nicely beside me! Walks are starting to become truly pleasant. This was an unexpected plus, because I didn't anticipate using this leash as a training aid.So functionally, this leash is really working for me. The materials and workmanship feels well made and sturdy. I liked the extra D rings on the belt attachment too.I've only used it for a week, so I will update this review after we've given it some stress testing. So far, things are shaping up great.
I recently adopted a senior foster dog, an 8 year old Golden Retriever. Although he is older, he has the personality of a puppy! He loves his walks, but I have back problems. I wanted a good leash that would let me train him so to speak to walk at my pace but also not hurt him by pulling the leash. I have NEVER seen a hands free leash. The part that goes around your waist is comfortable and adjusts easily. Then you just hook the leash to that.. With two handles you can use this in many different ways. It is so nice to enjoy a walk with a cup of coffee in one hand, water bottle, doggie poop bag, or whatever. I think it makes the walk much more enjoyable for your pet and you. I am so happy I purchased this item. The price point is actually low to me considering the quality. The future is here!
This leash is perfect for walking my dog because it has a reflective coating so it’s safe to use at night! I like that I have the option to use it around my waist to go running with my dog but unfortunately I haven’t been able to use it for that purpose because of a knee injury. The leash is durable, although it’s starting to fray because my dog chewed on it but it seems to be holding up just fine. I love the blue color also!
I really like this product! I taught my dogs to run with me prior to using it so I didn’t have any pulling issues, but the leash is elastic so that helps if they do. The fabric is uncomfortable against bare skin so I suggest wearing it over a shirt. The belt has like 3 different places to clip the leash to which is awesome!!! One of them moves pretty freely around the leash which helps when my dog wants to switch sides. I gave it one less star in sturdiness because the paint on the metal pieces is starting to come off. Overall, it’s a great product! We bought 2 and enjoy using them almost daily.
Ok I AM NOT A JOGGER. I have 105 lbs happy lab/hound. Bigger than I am. We have tried jog with a slip lead before. She(dog) wasn't having a good time, she was pulling at the slip lead trying to choke herself to make me go faster. Plus I had to hold it.I got a blue large. Its wonderful the bungie elastic cord to the dog HELPS emensly when shescadjusying speed or excited by a squirl and wants to take off. It's around my waist so I can put my whole body weight into stopping us. Again those squirrels. She can wander in a full circle around me because the latch circles my waste uninhibited. Perfect for direction change. It can adjust from my tiny waste to my bf so waist in case he wants to take her for a jogShe returns happy but not nearly tired enough.I return exhausted but hands were free! Not rubbedcraw pulling on her.
